Other funding companies were slow to run reports and were not helpful. Steve and his staff were quick to respond and always returned my messages and emails. They are also friendly and work past 5pm. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We recently reached out to Steve to buy our home in Georgetown TX, and our experience has been the polar opposite of some of the nightmare stories homeowners describe in the home loan process. Buying a home, and especially getting a loan, can be nerve wracking. As a homeowner I'm looking for someone ultra competent who can walk me through signing my life away and clearly and professionally answer all my questions and be a reliable guide, with years of experience and market savvy to corroborate their credibility. But as a human being, I'm also looking for someone who is reassuring, friendly, approachable, and easy to converse with. Steve and team at Southwest are the incredibly rare combination of both. In my experience you simply will not find friendlier or more professional people to work with. Steve, Leslie and Samantha bent over backward to help us in any way possible in the process, from regular checkup calls and offhand conversations about our various options, to pulling long hours pulling together our paperwork and ensuring our loan was approved and ready to go in a very tight timeline. Of course, the most important factor to many is getting the best rate possible, and Steve did manage to get us the rock bottom rate for home loans, but his service provided so much more than that.
